OBITUARY

William E. Atcheson, 69, of Fredericktown, died Sunday, May 10, 2009 in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
He was born on October 20, 1939 in Fredericktown, PA, a son of the late William H. and Pearl McGrady Atcheson.
Mr. Atcheson was a 1957 graduate of East Bethlehem High School.
He was the Owner and Operator of the William E. Atcheson Garbage Disposal Service, which served communities in both Washington and Greene Counties for over 40 years.
Mr. Atcheson was a member of the East Bethlehem Volunteer Fire Department since April of 1961 and was also Past Commissioner at Large for East Bethlehem Township.
He was antique car enthusiast, who held a special fondness for the 1967 Chevy Corvette, Model T’s, and Model A’s. He enjoyed spending time with his family at their camp in Big Bear Lake.
On September 27, 1969, he married Bernice Kuszaj, who survives. Also surviving is one daughter, Deborah Atcheson of Fredericktown, and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is one brother- Roy “Jr.” Taylor; two sisters- Colleen Morosky and Martha Atcheson; and one brother in law- Stanley Atcheson.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-9 PM Tuesday in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, where funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Interment will follow in the Beallsville Cemetery.
